a deeply personalised one-of-a-kind service.”

How does Pet Transport Pro differentiate itself from other pet transport companies in terms of customer service and ensuring a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners?

Pet Transport Pro differentiates itself from other pet transport companies in terms of customer service and ensuring a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by not trusting our clients pets to third party handlers or hired sub-contractors on the departure end of the move. Most companies arrange the movement of their clients’ pets through hired third parties. At Pet Transport Pro, I personally travel to wherever our clients are located and pick up their pets, deliver their pets to the airport, and check their pets in with the airline. Our service is a lot more hands-on and personalized because we know that our clients’ pets are their babies so we need to treat them as such. We do not feel comfortable trusting an independent contractor to provide the level of personal care and attention to detail that our clients and their pets deserve. Our clients have expressed the peace of mind it brings them when they realize that the the person they have been speaking to on the phone to set up their pet’s move is the same person that will be picking their pet up from them on the day of travel. Our unique hands-on approach allows us to provide a deeply personalized one of a kind service that distinguishes our company as the best in the business.

Can you share some insights into the training and expertise of your team members, and how their skills contribute to the safe and efficient relocation of pets worldwide.

Our company is licensed by the USDA as an intermediate handler, and our team is required to pass the International Air Transport Association (IATA) LAR exam. The LAR exam ensures that we are properly trained to move live animals and pets, that we comply with all regulatory requirements, and that the animals we move are transported safely and humanely. With over 28  years of personal experience handling and transporting animals, I am confident in our ability to provide safe travel for all of our clients beloved furry family members.

How does Pet Transport Pro ensure compliance with international regulations and requirements for pet transport, and what steps do you take to prepare pet owners for the complexities of international relocations?

Our staff has over 50 years of combined experience in pet travel to different countries. In the US, we follow the USDA guidelines, and we work with our clients’ personal vets to ensure that all requirements needed for their pets’ travel are met depending on their destination. We prepare all documents for our clients when using their personal veterinarian to ensure accuracy, and many times we handle the entire process by working with trusted vets that we have long standing relationships with. We always keep our clients completely aware of what will be required when moving their pets to a desired destination. Everything is triple checked to ensure all guidelines and requirements are met.

As a company founded by industry experts, how does Pet Transport Pro leverage its expertise to innovate and improve the pet shipping experience for both pets and their owners, and what future trends do you foresee in the pet transport industry?

Because of our extensive experience and industry knowledge, we have seen it all and know how to prepare our clients for any and all situations that can arise during the pet travel process. We find that the more knowledgeable our clients feel about the process ahead of time and the more prepared they are for the day of travel, the more peace of mind they will feel when they actually move their pets. Staying connected, being available, and providing guidance and updates throughout the entire process is key. We look at our clients’ pets as our pets when we are trusted with their travel around the globe and we treat them as such. In the future, I see an emphasis on providing pet owners with a greater sense of connection with their pets while their pets are in transit. I also think there will be improvements to the kennels and accessories associated with airline pet transport and pet travel in general as time goes on.
