The idea of creating tangible pet portraits, particularly one of her dog Tommy, without the use of color, was a driving force behind her vision. Emma recalled her childhood memories of searching for her name in souvenir shops and wanted to build an inclusive experience for all pet owners, one that extended beyond the confines of the internet.

Moreover, Emma’s late father, an incredible fine artist who never pursued his passion due to self-doubt, played a significant role in her motivation. By taking a chance on herself and her artistry, Emma feels she is honoring her father’s potential and legacy.
